INTENSIVE TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR FOREIGN PLAYERS, TOUR PLAYERS, OUT-OF-TOWN
VISITORS, AND FUTURE CHAMPIONS
Instructor: Andrew S. Rosz
As an exceptionally-active "World Class"
tennis player myself, I specialize
in training young players, tour players, and future champions from all over the world. However, my organization
consists of just one instructor; myself. As such, I do not cater to the
masses as typical of most tennis academies and tennis camps, nor do I offer
boarding facilities of any kind. I work with individual players
one-on-one at public and/or private tennis courts located here in Hollywood, Florida. I
am not associated with any one particular tennis club or tennis facility as teaching
from these locations involves; again, dealing with the masses... and you simply
cannot teach principles and techniques of "World Class" professional
tennis to the masses. Teaching greatness to talented young players
and future champions requires a dedicated one-on-one training effort.
Accordingly, I tend to hand-pick my students, I work with only one student at a
time, and I
always try to accommodate talented young players who visit the U.S. from other countries
to train under my direction.
After touring for many years, I retired from
professional tennis back in 1987 after having reached top 100 world status... I
now offer just a couple of one-hour lessons per day; Monday through Friday and
I specialize in teaching those aspiring to become among the best
tennis players in the world.
I emphasize proper tennis form and explain both the mental and physical
aspects of the game. I have also written several world-renowned
Tennis Books and Training Manuals for
players who simply prefer to be "self-taught."
Indeed, my reputation for teaching excellence is well
known as players from all over the world routinely come to the U.S. to train under my direction. Most come here
for a week or two and enroll in one of four intensive training
programs that I offer; each consisting of a series of daily one or two-hour lessons...
| Option 1 - Is for players who wish to
reserve ONE one-hour lesson each day for one complete five-day week, Monday
through Friday - Cost for the week (five hours of instruction) is $750 (U.S.) |
| Option 2 - Is for players who wish to
reserve ONE one-hour lesson each day for two complete five-day weeks, Monday
through Friday - Cost for the two weeks (ten hours of instruction) is $1500
(U.S.) |
| Option 3 - Is for those players who
wish to reserve TWO consecutive back-to-back one-hour lessons (two hours total
each day) for one complete five-day week, Monday through Friday - Cost for the
week (ten hours of instruction) is $1500 (U.S.) |
| Option 4 - Is for those players who
wish to reserve TWO consecutive back-to-back one-hour lessons (two hours total
each day) for two complete five-day weeks, Monday through Friday - Cost for the
two weeks (twenty hours of instruction) is $3000 (U.S.) |
By special request, I also make myself available to tour
players and out-of-town visitors for additional teaching and/or practice workouts
during some evenings and on weekends at my regular professional teaching rate of
$150 per
hour.
Although I do not require payment in advance prior to your arrival,
I do ask for somewhat of an idea of
how much time you wish to reserve (well enough in advance) so that I can
rearrange my regular teaching schedule to accommodate your visit.
Additionally, as most players from far away places such as Europe and
South America generally select
"Option 4" and reserve two consecutive
hours for all five days for two consecutive weeks,
Monday through Friday for
a total of 20 hours teaching time, my teaching schedule tends to become
exceptionally busy during the summer months so please try to contact
me as early as possible for availability.
Please also keep in mind that all teaching rates are quoted in U.S.
dollars and are for teaching
only, and do not include room and board
of any kind. Students are also responsible for securing their own hotels,
meals, and transportation. Fortunately, there is an abundance of hotel
accommodations and restaurants in the South Florida area. Please also keep
in mind that teaching principles of "World Class" professional tennis
to young tennis hopefuls involves teaching methods, presentations, and workout
drills completely different and unlike those given to a beginner and/or
club-level player during a typical budget-rate tennis lesson.
In conclusion, I teach professional tennis to
"World Class
Hopefuls" and "Future Champions" not to entertain them, but
rather, to educate them
on how to successfully compete at the professional
level. But intellect is key... Quite simply, it takes intelligence
to play great tennis. Accordingly, if my students have the intelligence and
the discipline to learn, then indeed, I can teach them greatness.
